DR. DANA MYERS

Dr. Dana Myers is a staunch conservative advocate for liberty, devoted to protecting Texas and energizing the Republican Party of Texas' mission. Dana is committed to advancing Republican principles, including Individual Freedom, Limited Government, the Sanctity of Life, Law and Order, Fiscal Responsibility, Free Markets, and National Security. She knows that this will require a concentrated effort to grow the party by reaching new voters who are naturally aligned with the Republican vision in a changing Texas, keeping true to the conservative principles that have made Texas prosperous, free, and the beacon of liberty to people everywhere. She will build a stronger Republican Party and forge a lasting infrastructure and organization that will advance the Republican platform in every corner of our great state.

With extensive business and nonprofit executive leadership experience, Dr. Dana Myers has participated in the Republican grassroots movement for more than two decades, starting at the local neighborhood, county, and now state level. 

Dana currently serves as the Vice Chair of the Republican Party of Texas, has twice served as Vice Chair of the Harris County Republican Party (HCRP), past VP Membership-Texas Federation of Republican Women Executive Board, and Co-Chair of Engagement for HCRP.

Dr. Dana Myers is running to be your next Republican Party of Texas Chair to strengthen our party, to unite in purpose the statewide grassroots and Republican organizations, and to build a lasting statewide infrastructure while growing membership. Her goal is to partner with our SREC, County Executive Committees, and other Republican groups to forge an enduring Conservative network to keep Texas, Texas and win elections. She is committed to ensuring that we will never be forced to apologize to our children and grandchildren for failing to preserve Life, Liberty, and Freedom. Dr. Dana believes that together we will always protect our Texas.

Regional Director, VICTORY/TFRW/STRIKE FORCE -HARRIS and surrounding counties (covers 8 counties total)


Recruited volunteers from around the county and state to deploy to battleground districts in midterm and general presidential elections. Successfully recruited callers, letter writers, text and block walkers for the area races. Increase voter registration, volunteer participation and campaign support for the targeted House Districts in our eight county area. Victory strikeforce was responsible for almost 213,000 of the total 318,000 new Republican voter registrations which managed to be the statistical vote difference to win 4 Texas Republican state house seats—thus controlling redistricting.


Feb 2021 to January 2022 - Working  with the Grassroots Groups

Chair, Operation Wrangler: Precinct chair training


Created Precinct chair training program and worked statewide with the grassroots and county chairs to help rebuild the precinct chair recruitment  throughout the state at the county level. The goal was to teach Texas Republican County Chairs how to recruit, train, and mobilize precinct chairs and regional precinct volunteers. Dr. Dana traveled statewide in Texas and did in-person training, led discussions regarding how to find and recruit precinct chair applicants, how to train volunteers, how to utilize the latest technology to Get Out The Vote, create text messaging systems, craft USPS mailers, and execute a GOTV door knocking campaign.

Led outreach to various Conservative minority groups, including Indian, Vietnamese, Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Nigerian, Hispanic, Black, Youth groups, and communities. Increase participation as voters, precinct chairs, committee members, and in Republican auxiliary groups.

A two term President, Dr. Dana modernized the club's activities, adding a website to improve member engagement and access. This site provided resources for members to keep them updated on legislative filings,and connected them directly to their Texas elected officials.

Under Dana's leadership the club grew from 35 members to over 180 through active recruitment, modernization, social media campaigns, and a robust series of speakers to educate, motivate, and activate members. Recognizing the diverse needs of members, Dr Dana challenged her leadership team to provide relevant and timely resources for all members, laying the foundation for a strong, enduring, active organization.

2019 to 2020

RPT Communication Task Force for Texas


Dana was a member of the communications task force charged with rebuilding the communications infrastructure between RPT and the many county parties. This included an assessment of the infrastructure requirements, such as the need for independent, locally managed websites, server and internet evaluation for rural areas, as well as messaging strategies and tools such as peer to peer texting, VOIP calls, emails, and newsletters. The team explored ways to mentor new county chairs and develop a support system for RPT inquiries.
